There's A Story Behind My Style
Welcome to my new blog page called "There's A Story Behind My Style." This is a more fitting title than the prior one which was "Uptown Nice Downtown Price." However, I will still use this phrase when I post "Styled By RaRa" creations that are high end looks at a low end price. The RRSA brand is now shifting more and more into the lane of inspiration and I want to include you in on my journey as I grow in this venture.
In October of last year, I decided that it was time to put my brand, RaRa's Style Appeal, back on the social media map. I had no idea what it was all going to lead to, and yet I had an undeniable knowing, in my spirit, that it was time to do it. Since making that decision, God has been orchestrating my steps to where my passion has led to my purpose. The vision of this brand is bigger than me and there are stories that back up my journey as a Style Inspirator. Soon, I will share those stories here. Little did I know how much of an impact that I was making through my social media posts. I used to base the impact on the number of followers I had, but I soon learned that it wasn't about that. The lesson for me was that impact is impact no matter how many are following.
So, if you're reading this right now, I want to thank you for following. You are in on the best part of this journey because at some point, it will reach a much larger audience, both nationally and internationally. Stay in touch with this blog to read how it all unfolds. Witness the vision through my eyes, as God continues to develop me on a personal level and on a brand level. As a matter of fact, I took a leap of faith this week and I am still waiting on the results. I'm also about to release a product line (just waiting to finalize a couple of details).
